Lentor Hills Residences Launch
Unlike Esparina which is an executive condominium, the latest launch is a fully private residential development. To be called Lentor Hills Residences, it is situated in Lentor Hills Estate, within a short walk of Lentor MRT station on the new Thomson-East Coast Line.
This site lies to the north-east of Singapore, not too far from Esparina in Sengkang. It is across from the HDB heartland township of Ang Mo Kio, but lies in a sort of private residential enclave opposite this township. This enclave comprises a mix of low-rise landed houses and high rise condominiums.
Like Esparina that enjoys the advantage of being within 3 minutes walk from Buangkok MRT station, the Lentor Hills condo showflat is within 6 minutes walk of Lentor MRT station. However for those who drive, it is currently not as convenient. You need to drive down Yio Chu Kang Road, passing through several traffic lights, before getting to the nearest CTE exit.
Of course there is the alternative of driving down Thomson Road instead. Going north will get you onto the SLE (Seletar Expressway), while going south will get you to the Novena-Newton area.
The other feature about the Lentor Hills condo showflat is that it is directly opposite the future Hillock Park. It is also within a short drive of Peirce Reservoir Nature Reserve and Park. In fact, high floor units at Lentor Hills Residences will likely have some nice views over the landed housing estate on its west, to the reservoir and its surrounding greenery.
